Music steaming service Spotify, has fired it's long-time PR agency, M&C Saatchi PR London AdWeek reported earlier this week.
After music artists Taylor Swift withdrew her entire discography late last year, the company has been putting out fire after and after after the PR nightmare brought on by one of Spotify's top streaming artists pulling all of their song titles from the service's data base. Reports following this event stated that Taylor Swift's music was streamed regularly by 16 million of the 60 million Spotify subscribers. With a withdraw of such a vital part of Spotify's music catalog, this brought plenty of heat to the company.
M&C Saatchi PR London and Spotify parted ways late last week, and PR publications and communities such as AdWeek and PRNews report that the company is in search of their next PR group to again be a UK company.

We'll see if they remain within our lovely jurisdiction (the UK) to rehab the Taylor Swift debacle of 2014.
