Adele's Album Drops Friday
Adele's highly anticipated album, 25, is set to release Friday November 20th. Fans are eagerly waiting in anticipation, while music streaming sites are holding their breath hoping Adele and her label, XL (a client of Korrect's) will put her album on their platform. As of now, it's looking like Adele will NOT be doing anything of the sort, much like her chart topping companions Taylor Swift and Jason Aldean.
In a statement, Spotify tried to lure Adele back, noting the size of its audience. “We love and respect Adele, as do her 24 million fans on Spotify,” the company said. “We hope that she will give those fans the opportunity to enjoy ‘25’ on Spotify alongside ‘19’ and ‘21’ very soon.” (via the NY Times)
