Korrect and The Orchard Join Forces

The last several weeks have been a bustling and busy time for Korrect and it's newest partner, The Orchard.

The Orchard and Korrect have embarked on a partnership last month in which the Orchard has made a strategic investment into Korrect, thus enabling this dynamic duo to provide advanced royalty processing services to those in the entertainment industry.

Korrect has been handling millions and in some cases billions of lines of data for some of our customers and the solutions we provide. With streaming becoming the highest source of income by content type, which equates to huge volume increases year by year, we saw it as an obvious choice that we integrate with the industry’s leading digital distributor.
The Orchard was the first company to make global music distribution accessible to all artists, as this has been the crux of most problems independent labels have faced in recent years,
We are excited to collaborate with like minded businesses to build upon our next generation best-in-breed royalty processing system.
— Simon Peters, MD of Korrect

Orchard CEO Brad Navin also spoke positively about the newest partnership last month in a press statement in Billboard Magazine:

We’re always looking for ways to free our clients time up and allow them to focus on the creative side of their businesses, whether it’s through performance rights collections, sales and marketing, or premium video services,” “Artist royalty processing is a natural extension of our end-to-end solution, particularly as it follows our philosophy of providing complete transparency from point of purchase to artist payment.
— Brad Navin, CEO of The Orchard

Current client operations will remain the same moving forward, as this will not effect any current client relations. Long term client of both The Orchard and Korrect, Brian Perera of Cleopatra Records, spoke of the positive outcome relating to these two companies collaborating:

Cleopatra Records made the move to Korrect as we feel it is the accounting solution for the digital age, the future proofing of our systems, thus allowing us to focus on our business. This combined with the integration benefits of the Orchard, we have seen our processing times go from three days down to minutes with 20 million lines of data per quarter.
